Donald Trump: The Real Terrorist

Image
As Jesus once said -- the real Christian view. Months, even weeks ago I stated many times that I was so sick and tired of politics that I would actually vote for Trump just for the entertainment itself. He's a showman, an attention grabber, as well as a sideshow circus. Why not? Every other president before him seemed to have taken on the "class clown" status in their own quirky and corrupt way. But this is a bit different. Again, I will state that I am not a liberal or a conservative. I have views that land both in the left and right field of politics. I also usually never dabble in politics, especially on Facebook. I guess blogging is different. So my opinions will flow freely on this forum. Why is Trump taking this to a whole new level? Is it because people wouldn't vote for him unless he has pushed the envelope? He seems to cater to the older generation. Most senior citizens love him because he has an old fashioned "Archie Bunker" approach on pol...

"Why Are the Americans More Concerned Than Us?" --Zimbabweans on Cecil the Lion

Image
Isn't it wonderful when people come together and share their thoughts onto social media, spreading awareness to something that they feel is important? I love seeing people pull together, showing their passion for some things that can seem so out of our control. I haven't gone one day without seeing the tragic hunt down of Cecil the Lion. The hunter is now being hunted. Dr. Walter J. Palmer not only got a huge backlash on social media over his kill, but he lost his business and had to go into hiding. I mean, if you want to be brave, get into the lion's den without your gun and see who wins. Dr. Palmer needed a large head on his wall to make up for his "shortcomings". In all honesty, I've never seen such outrage before. Everywhere on social media you'll see "Cecil! Cecil! Cecil!" Even Jimmy Kimmel had a little emotional outburst of tears while speaking about the death of Cecil. Really?  I wonder if Kimmel had tears while watching Samuel ...

Don't Burst My Bubble

Image
My sick baby. Enough of this 'deep thought' kind of stuff. I just want to recap upon some of the current events. I have issues (as you all know) -- but I'm talking about issues that just makes me wanna shake people by their collars. For starters, I have packed up my precious prized possessions and my favorite blanky and hightailed it into my bubble. I don't have room for anyone other than my Lola. Then I decided, she's not welcomed too after yesterday's fiasco of pukin' & poopin' all day. So she's out. Poor pup. Ebola has finally arrived in the United States. A few things come to mind: I won't be visiting the ER anytime soon, so right there is a roundabout plus. Also, Lysol and Purell are making a shitload of money off of me. I scan through comments of each ebola story on the internet. Our country is so incredibly stupid. They really are. I know I contribute to some of that, but these people just bypass my inane sense of current events....

What a Wonderful World… Is it? (WARNING: Graphic photos included.)

It hit me just this morning: I don't care. You know, as a part of my faith of being a Christian and trying to wrap my head around all of these horrific events that are taken place in the world, my thoughts on this is, I really don't care anymore. It sounds very 'gloom n' doom' -- but it's not supposed to come across that way. For instance: this world we live in is so very temporary. We're only here for a fraction of what it's like to be on the other side (whatever you deem to be the other side), so why does this place, this earth, this world, matter? I'm speaking in terms of being feared by terrorists, or getting freaked out by ebola becoming airborne and hitting the United States. What about Anton Nolen who just beheaded a co-worker after he had just gotten fired. He was trying to convert them to Islam and failed miserably. ISIS is here, or -- they've been living among us for a very long time. There are Muslim extremists who plan to behead...
