They Put on Their Pants the Same Way We Do

Image
Isn't this a bit over-the-top? The other day I was talking to my mother about crazy obsessed fans -- the type that get the front row seats at a concert crying their eyes out screaming bloody murder just to get the star's attention. I guess you can say most of Bieber's fans. But if you even look back in history with The Beatles and the way their fans cried out and clawed at them, it makes you wonder what kind of psychological problems these people must have. It's mostly stars like Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Elvis and of course whatever trendy boy band is making their way through. These girls go absolutely nutso. Granted, you'll rarely see a guy or an older man throwing their panties up on stage or even someone above the age of 25 --- but what goes on in their little noggins in order for them to be so in love -- so obsessed and crazed over someone they don't even know? More so, I wonder how the celebrities feel over their fans literally crying buckets of te...

My Stalker: Mark/GW Mush

Image
Since 2005, when I first started this blog, a commenter who went under the name/blogger id of “GW Mush” started commenting. His real name is Mark. He was generally polite and very funny at times. I enjoyed his visits and thought nothing of it. Most of his visits revolved around my blog and my fellow writer/friend, Susan’s blog. Susan and I discuss religion, politics along with frustrations of everyday life. I have toned it down a bit during these past couple of years due to a lot of hate mail by other religious zealots regarding my views, beliefs and whatnot. Like clockwork, Mark would comment on both our blogs with either something funny or something with a double meaning, which could have been taken either way. It started to get a bit shady. I’d receive tons of emails from him with photos of flowers, hearts, teddy bears and all of this ‘wishing you a great day’ type of email but with very flirtatious undertones. At one point, I was receiving an email daily, if not twice a day. I tha...

Is it "Stalking" Or "Peeking"?

Have you ever felt like someone was watching you or something just wasn’t right? I mean, granted you can’t tell if someone is tapping into your public facebook or Twitter account, however I’m not even speaking about the internet - I’m speaking about in real life “in the flesh” so to speak. We’ve all done the “spy on the ex lover” type of thing on the internet - who hasn’t? We’ve Googled, we’ve seen their public statuses and whatnot, but when does it come to the point of creepiness when it starts happening in person? Not too long ago, you probably remember me speaking about someone driving by my neighborhood. It was an ex-friend who wanted a bit more than just a coffee clutch bud. When the friendship ended, it was peaceful for quite some time...until I started seeing her car everywhere I went within a five mile radius. I just chucked it up to it being a coincidence. She was harmless. Then, I started seeing her on the very street that I live on. I looked right at her car and saw her dr...
