Queercents

Unfortunately, Madelene and I both came down with a stomach virus. We're both very sick, which is why I haven't been posting lately.

But please check out Dawn's site called, "Queercents", as she interviewed my partner and I regarding our finances and current situation. It's a fascinating sight that deals with financial issues geared towards the GLBT communtiy.

Visit Queercents here!

Back to bed. It's 4:30 am here, I woke up shaky with a fever of 101... If you're interested in being my personal nurse, please leave your crudentials in my comment section. Thanks!

I would like to submit my application for the nurse position.

In addition to my crisp little uniform, I have extensive knowledge in the practice of "nursing". You can rely on me for the treatment, safety and recovery from your acute or chronic illness, or from any injury you have suffered.

All in the privacy of your own home - at no extra cost.

I am also involved in medical "research" and can perform a wide range of non-clinical functions necessary to your speedy recovery.

Aww, get better Deb. It sucks that you and Madelene always get sick together... it's tougher helping somebody who's sick if you're sick yourself. But anyways, I hope you both feel better really soon.

Hi Deb - hope you are feeling better.

While I seriously DO NOT want to start up any more controversy with you, I wanted to invite you to listen my husband's latest radio show on July 15, 2006 where we are talking about you, your book and your influence on Taylor. Go to KDUH Radio to listen online.

Also, to be fair, we were wondering if you would like to be a guest on the show sometime to talk about your book, and defend your lifestyle as a Christian lesbian? Stop by my blog or email to let me know.

Take Care!

Dani, I found this on your blog:

JULY 15, 2006
DEB: LITTLE "NAIVE GIRL", O.C.D., A.D.D., WHATEVER LESBO-GIRL
(Featuring me as a guest host all three segments.)
Talking about Deb, the "Neurotic Christian Lesbian" influencing a young 14-yr-old "bi-sexual" girl named Taylor to live a life of sin and perversion.
*Also, listen to the awesome song by Rakim "After You Die" on the second part of the show.

I would be very careful about what you type about Deb. What you write could be considered libelous, and possibly open you up to a lawsuit from multiple parties. Deb never said anything to this girl except for her to follow her heart. You really should check your facts.

Also, I haven't listened to your husband's radio show *yet* but I would also consider removing anything that could be considered slanderous.

If you need clear definition of what these two terms cover, you can refer to medialaw.org.

Remember: The laws that apply to traditional media also apply to the internet.

If I get that nurse to take care of me I would like to come get contaminated by you and Maddie.

My nursing skills consist of plenty of fluids...beer of course...get your head outta the gutter.

Taylor said...

Dani ummm.. when were ya gonna tell me about this??? Please, I really don't want this. I am asking for you're husband to not use my name or other information in his radio show. Just give me a code name or something....

Go ahead and talk about me... no name and no age. You can say "teen" but I will REALLY not like it if I hear my name on that show.

Thank you
~taylor

p.s. how is everyone? feeling better deb?

Deb, visit this site to help you understand the laws against what Dani and her husband are doing to you.

Visit: http://www.eff.org/bloggers/lg/faq-defamation.php

I'm sure you are capable of hiring a very good attorney. I e-mailed you information and if you need assistance, please don't hesitate to e-mail me or call me. I'm in the downtown area and have many resources for you.

Not only is she promoting your book, but she is also going to pay big bucks for broadcasting this on the radio as well as her blog.

Laura Elizabeth said...

Deb, I hope you and Madelene are feeling better.

Dani said...

If Deb does not want her personal information to be made public, then perhaps she shouldn't write books or have a public blog?

Go ahead and sue us - you can have all $148.00 in our account.

Besides - We are giving Deb an opportunity to come on the show and defend herself, her book and anything we said that was false. She should take us up on the offer.

Boy - If I had a dollar for every negative or slanderous thing someone said or wrote about me...I'd be a millionaire!

Judge Knowitall said...

Dani, the mere fact that you are making false statements which are not true and considered not only slanderous, but libelous. A fellow attorney and I have documented the entire debate and transcripts of what has taken place. There has not been one statement of which Deb has said the words, "Be a homosexual" to the 14 yr old girl involved. In fact, you have left an adult website on her blog, which can be considered illegal.

Anyone, celebrities, singers or anyone in the public eye, as well as authors such as Deb can sue you, if you make false statements.

If you only have $148.00 in your account, then you better ask a family or relative to help you out of prison. I advise you to be careful with your words.

I work in law. Believe me. Step away from Deb's blog and stop the lies right now, or you'll definitely find out what it's like to be behind bars.

I hope that this all ends. Focus on your blog and your agenda. Make peace, instead of stirring up the pot.

Legal actions will take place if this is not taken seriously.

Thank you.

Dani said...

Go ahead - sue me, I dare you!

If being a homosexual is such a great thing - then Deb should have nothing to worry about by encouraging Taylor to "follow her heart" and live as a "bi-sexual."

Unless of course, being a lesbian is a bad thing?

~Deb said...

Thank you everyone for wishing Madelene and I a speedy recovery. We're doing much better, and just got back from the doctor's.

Queercents---thank you again, for the opportunity to interview with you. We were more than happy to do it.

As far as who's suing who--I'm not suing anybody.

Dani, I don't wish to have anything more to do with you...or your husband's show, but thank you for the offer! If your wish is to slander me and tell lies like a good little radical Christian that you are, then go ahead. God knows your heart. God and everyone else knows how "credible" (or lack there of) your claims are. If anything, you're actually giving me more business in my book sales. I appreciate that! If you don't like the content of my blog, or my book, please refrain from visiting. Thanks & God bless!

Good for you ~Deb for closing the lid on this and Locking it down. Letting the past stay in the past.

Hope you feel better Deb and Madelene!

I just want to ask, has anyone ever heard this radio station that Dani's husband broadcasts? He sounds like a surfer boy in his bedroom with a transistor radio frequency. It's no wonder they only have $148.00 in their bank account!

Maddie said...

First of all, I think "Queercents" is awesome and very informative. And I'd like to thank them for the opportunity for the interview. Definitely check them out, because I sure will continue to do so.

Thanks to all for wishing us well.

I realize that Dani feels that she has important work to cover, but this is really beating a dead horse.

Dani, don't you have more important topics to cover, than the continuous bashing of Deb's blog, as well as her book? Did you come on her site just to gain traffic and exposure? Please stop, it's very negative. Like Deb said, if you don't like the content, then don't read it. I refuse to spend anymore of my brain cells on reading your negative comments and implications. That's all I have to say about this. It's sad.

Hum....I'm applying for the nurse position. Though I have to admit I don't look that good in a uniform and clogs and I'm not a blonde. But in my defense, I make a killer chicken soup and I have some great flu remedies my mother concocted that I would love to torture someone else with. Feel better soon!

hope u & mad are feeling better by now *hugs*

Ladies and gentlemen, rule number one of the internet:

Do not feed the trolls.

If you don't feed them, they go away.

Sadly, they just move on to torture someone else... but at least they're no longer bothering you.

One thing that you might want to try is eating organic yogurt. The stomach virus (and any antibiotics they might have put you on) may have killed some of the good bacteria that lives in your gut. The yogurt will replenish them. But it has to be organic so the cultures are still alive. Just my $0.02.
